Tazi · for iPhone · coming soon

The phone tree,
made visible.

When you call a business, a robot reads you a list of choices. Tazi shows you that list as buttons instead. See your options, tap the one you need, and Tazi presses the right key for you.

The old way

You shouldn’t have to memorize a phone tree.

Today, calling a business means listening. A voice reads every choice, one at a time. Miss the one you needed? Start over and listen again. The menu is invisible — you have to hold the whole map in your head.

The Tazi way

If Tazi knows the number, the menu is already there.

Tazi keeps a shared library of business phone menus. Call a number Tazi has seen before, and the menu shows up as buttons — often before the robot finishes its first sentence. No listening. No guessing. Just tap.

  • Saved on your phone too, so menus you use often load right away.
  • Shown in your chosen language when a translation is ready.
  • Checked and refreshed over time, so stale menus don’t stick around.

How Tazi learns

One call becomes a map.

Calling a number Tazi hasn’t seen before? Tazi learns it during the call — automatically. Here’s what happens behind the scenes, step by step.

  1. When there’s no saved menu, Tazi records the phone system’s menu audio during the call so it can be studied.

  2. The audio becomes written words — with the exact moment each word was spoken.

  3. AI reads the words and finds the choices — “press 1,” “press 2” — and turns them into a clean, ordered list.

  4. The menu can be prepared in other languages. The words change — the buttons stay the same.

  5. The finished menu goes into the shared library. The next call to that number starts with the menu already on screen.

  6. Every tap through a menu helps Tazi check its map — confirming choices, finding deeper levels, and fixing what changed.

During the call

Tap the option. Tazi sends the tone.

Phone systems listen for keypad tones — the beeps you hear when you dial. When you tap a button in Tazi, it plays exactly the tone that phone system expects. To the business, it’s just like you pressed the key.

See where each choice leads.

When one menu leads to another, Tazi shows the next level too — with a trail of where you’ve been, and a back button when you change your mind.

Languages

The route stays the same. The menu speaks your language.

Tazi can show the same menu in other languages — like Spanish, French, or Chinese. Only the words change. The keys and the path stay exactly the same, so “press 2” still means press 2.

The shared library

Learn a menu once. Every call after gets easier.

Tazi’s menu library is shared. When one caller’s Tazi maps a new number, the next caller sees that menu instantly. Numbers that people call a lot get double-checked more often, so their menus stay sharp.

The library stores each business’s menu, tied to that business’s phone number — it’s a map of phone trees, not of people.

The app

A real phone, with a clearer path through the call.

Tazi isn’t just a menu viewer — it’s a full calling app. Calls ring, connect, and feel like the phone you already know.

  • Real calls over the internet. Clear voice calls to regular phone numbers.
  • Feels native on iPhone. Calls ring on your lock screen and show up like any other call.
  • Incoming calls too. Tazi can receive calls, even when the app is closed.
  • Keypad, mute, and speaker — always one tap away during a call.
  • Recent calls, kept on your phone.
  • Your own number. Verify your number with a text code so calls can show your caller ID.

For the curious

How it works, in eight steps.

The short technical version, for people who like to know.

  1. 1 Your call travels over the internet (WebRTC) to the phone network.
  2. 2 Tazi checks its menu library for the number you dialed.
  3. 3 If the menu is unknown, the menu audio is recorded for learning.
  4. 4 Cloud transcription turns the audio into timed text.
  5. 5 AI reads the text and finds the menu choices.
  6. 6 Translations are prepared so menus can appear in other languages.
  7. 7 The finished menu is saved for the next caller.
  8. 8 Your taps send keypad (DTMF) tones — and help refine the map.
